创业创新是许多人的强烈兴趣，但同时有着与生俱来的高风险。在成功创业的道路上总有一些不可避免的，但又很难把握的要素。成功者的经验对后来者具有重要参考价值。
北美华人信息技术协会 (CITANA) 于2017年6月18日(周日）下午成功举办了”创业创新 – 心得分享交流会”。
交流会由CITANA蒙特利尔分会副会长胡聪主持，采取线上与线下相结合的形式，来自蒙特利尔、多伦多、西雅图、纽约、新泽西、深圳等10多名创业兴趣者一起参与了讨论与交流。
本次活动，我们很荣幸能邀请到英才学院赵振家校长与大家一起分享其创办英才学院的成功经验与创业过程中的各种酸甜苦辣。
赵振家，曾任职于中科院，又在加拿大从事过IT工作；十多年前在蒙特利尔白手起家成功创立英才学院，并任校长至今。
赵校长与大家分享了他宝贵的创业心得，英才学院从一开始如何找到自己的落脚点 — 中考辅导，这是以市场驱动与引导的选择。在此基础上，又如何找到新的增长点：中小学辅导、夏令营、成人培训、英才国际等等；又如何一步一个脚印，稳打稳扎，走向未来……
创业中有很多因素会影响成功，赵校长列举了商业模式中最重要的几条，以英才学院创业为案例与参加交流的朋友进行了具体分析与讨论…
赵校长特别强调创业要实实在在干事，不能什么都去做，一定要懂得”有所不为，才能有所为！”。创业初期，一定要集中有限的力量去专攻某一个不太大的目标，这样才能容易成功。
另外，创业过程中，朋友们在关键时刻能够帮很多忙。他举例说，余磊会长是北美华人信息技术领域中的领军人物，他同时具有很丰富的管理经验。从我创办英才开始一直到现在，遇到些重要问题，我常常与余会长商量讨论，他总会给我很好的建议与帮助。余会长是看着英才长大的。英才走到今天，真的离不开这些朋友们的大力支持、帮助、与鼓励。
与会的朋友都是有备而来，提出许多深刻的创业问题。虽然有些问题答案并非一个或者暂时没有答案，但是赵校长都尽量以自己的切身体会或者实战经验给朋友们一一答复……
与会的创业人士的共鸣更多。Peter 就深有同感地与大家分享其在手机维修服务创业中的类似挑战……
在讨论中，余会长问赵校长有关英才学院发展的中长期规划是什么？赵校长毫不犹豫地说，”Yes, I have a dream!” .
他的梦想就是建立蒙特利尔第一所华人全日制学校！目前，蒙特利尔犹太人全日制中小学校有几十所，但是华人一所都没有。这既是英才学院的目标，也是他的使命 — 办一所属于华人自己的全日制的学校。在华人子女教育和发扬光大中华文化方面做出更大成绩！
在结束前，胡聪副会长还向大家介绍了CITANA参加杭州创业大赛的准备情况和相关项目合伙人征集情况，并欢迎更多的朋友参加CITANA创业沙龙活动。
