2017年3月18日晚，北美华人信息技术协会（CITANA）在Goto meeting上举办了一场线上求职面试经验交流会，由Oracle ERP资深专家蒋炳兴先生做了关于北美IT行业求职和面试经验分享讲座。来自华盛顿DC、达拉斯、西雅图、阿拉巴马、多伦多、蒙特利尔、卡尔加里、滑铁卢等大城市24位会员参加了交流。
该线上交流会由CITANA 会长余磊先生主持。余会长首先欢迎参加交流会的各位同仁，并介绍了主讲人蒋炳兴先生。同时与会者还进行了简单的自我介绍和会前交流。蒋炳兴先生是美国阿拉巴马州Oracle ERP技术专家，曾先后换过10多个工作，经历的100多次面试。他丰富的北美求职经验给协会会员的未来就业求职提供宝贵的经验和建议。
演讲正式开始，蒋先生首先介绍了一下面试基本注意事项，如简历、着装得体、注重倾听和眼神交流、保持微笑、表现热情、守时、礼貌待人、认真准备等小技巧。之后蒋先生着重强调了在面试中求职者应了解公司想要了解的信息和兴趣点。
面试中一般会要求职者做自我介绍，比如自己的爱好特点、从业经验、为何离开前任公司以及对求职公司的了解等一些问题。对于面试中的Positive question，求职者应该积极地展示自我，利用自己的亲身实践阐述自我价值。而对于Negative question中求职者被问到自己缺点的时候，应回避明显的缺点，真诚相待，并能提出对于自己不足之处的改进措施。对于自己失败案例，可以列举一些由于客观原因造成的例子。
蒋先生给大家分享了一些自己的经验，例如要提高自己的沟通能力，对自己简历中每个细节要清楚了解，勤加练习并模拟面试。有了自信心成功就不远了。
最后，蒋先生特别强调建立自己职业人脉网络的重要性，平时注意积累并积极扩大自己的专业人士网络，申请工作时尽可能请朋友熟人把筒历递上去。在他不久前换工作时，他主动参加Oracle年会，积极与参会公司互动，效果非常明显，会后他收到两个Offers和4个面试机会。
蒋先生结束演讲后，会议进入了问答和自由交流环节，与会者根据自己的经历提出了很多建设性的问题并分享了自己的经验，涉及了就业市场、北美IT就业前景、求职技巧等诸多问题。蒋先生根据自己多年来的面试招聘经验对这些问题进行了详细的解答，与会者纷纷表示在线上交流会上受益匪浅，这些有用的知识对于在未来的求职旅程中帮助甚大！
