【CITANA 通讯 2016.10.15】
继上周成功举办大数据及BI交流活动后，北美华人信息技术协会（CITANA）继续保持不断推出高质量技术交流会的热度，于本周末 （2016年10月15日），在线举办了精彩的、关于区块链的讲座。来自蒙特利尔、多伦多、温莎、新泽西、达拉斯、科罗拉多及中国的19位人士参加。与会者在IT行业拥有深厚的资历及不同的背景，其中有大学教授、企业家、大公司的企业架构师、数据架构师、应用架构师、高级项目经理及专业管理人员、资深数据 及应用的设计开发人员等。讲座介绍分享了区块链领域的发展前景和最新动向，大家教学相长，收获颇丰。
交流会由CITANA会长余磊博士主持，由Paul Liu主讲。在与会者各自介绍了自己的背景和兴趣后，Paul 也做了自我介绍。他毕业于浙江大学，获得本科及硕士学位，并攻读博士（由于创业而未完成），先后就读机械设计、计算机图形图像处理、人工智能专业。 Paul曾任中国银联前身银联金融网络公司总经理，并曾在GE医疗、Caterpillar、摩根等从事技术顾问或架构师工作，并同时组建自己的团队，开 发包括医疗、供应链管理、及金融应用系统。
Paul演讲的题目是 《区块链概念、技术、架构与应用》。区块链是一个比较新的概念并已经成为一个行业热点。它主要的目的是促进在社会及商业运行模式中的去中心化，从而打破垄 断和减少社会及商业运行成本；以及提供开源的共识机制，以解决去中心化后各方建立相互信任和信息保密的需求。Paul首先从社会、及商业特别是金融行业的 现实瓶颈及发展趋势的角度，介绍区块链的概念，所要解决的问题，和解决方案的框架。然后是区块链所用技术及架构， 和区块链的价值体系。Paul最后介绍了他目前所领导的区块链的开源项目的情况。之后大家就所关心的问题互动。整个交流会的气氛坦诚开放，视野高远、内容精炼，演讲流畅；充分体现了CITANA的活动所具有的高级别行业专家的水准。
CITANA将继续为大家组织更多优质的线上或线下的交流，同时鼓励大家积极参与主动分享。
