杨耀明博士拥有McGill大学免疫学和癌症生物学博士，北京医科大学血液病学硕士，曾在蒙特利尔大学从事分子遗传学&生物信息学博士后，宾夕法尼亚大学从事癌症生物学博士后。
杨博士具有多年急诊科学，内科学和血液学临床医学工作和教学经验。通过了加拿大医学理事会评估考试，美国医疗执照考试，美国外国医学毕业生教育委员会的认证。在各种生理和病理生理过程的分子机制方面拥有20多年的跨学科医学研究经验。
杨博士还有多年软件开发、数据分析和机器学习的经验，是北美华人信息技术协会的资深会员。
