2023年3月14日（周二）晚8：30，北美华人信息技术协会主办的“商业智能（BI）”论坛在线上如期举行。

这次论坛由北美华人信息技术协会-温哥华分会承办，由温哥华分会会长、加拿大皇家银行战略投资组合架构总监Sunny Xiong主持，来自蒙特利尔、多伦多、温哥华、达那斯、西雅图、卡尔加里等城市的25名专业人士受邀参加了论坛。

在研讨过程中，主持人和三位嘉宾先后分享了他们在BI领域多年的从业经验和见解，并很快统一了BI的基本概念。

他们一致认为，商务智能（Business Intelligence，简称BI），是指通过将企业数据收集、整理、分析、挖掘、展示等过程，帮助企业管理者、决策者更好地理解企业现状，发现问题、解决问题、抓住机会，从而为企业提供数据化决策支持的一种信息化解决方案。

嘉宾Roy Chen还重点介绍了前沿的BI架构及最新的BI工具。

大家还讨论了BI的重要性以及如何应用于企业管理和决策中。

商务智能的核心目标是将企业的各种数据转化为决策支持信息，帮助企业管理层更好地理解业务运营的各个方面，如销售、采购、生产、库存、财务等，从而提高企业的运营效率和决策质量，为企业的发展提供有力支持。商务智能可以通过多种方式呈现数据和报告，例如图表、报表、仪表盘等形式，帮助管理人员更直观地了解企业的运营状况。

为此，Cyristal Migration Services 公司总裁George Su先生还演示了其公司开发的先进BI报表软件产品，并与大家分享其创业经验。

在问答环节中，与会者积极提问和交流，讨论了BI实施中的挑战和解决方案，以及职业发展中的困惑解析。共同探讨了商业智能的就业前景等热点话题。

讨论非常热烈，两个半小时仍未结束。与会者纷纷表示，此次论坛收获颇丰，对他们的工作和学习都有很大的帮助，他们期待协会继续举办类似的交流活动，帮助会员共同进步。
